The

      8^th Annual MOC FoodBank Benefit Concert 

Saturday, January 29th

7:30 pm, 

Ocean Grove Youth Temple 

22 Pilgrim Pathway

Ocean Grove, New Jersey. 

Those attending are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations which will be donated to the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties and the charities served.

This  concert will present David Cohen on classical & flamenco guitar, Chinese pipa, Turkish oud and Highland bagpipes. 

Also appearing: Jo Wymer on blues guitar, vocal by Danny White, Jack Pyrah on keyboard and  M’Zume Carnival, an all percussive Brasilian/Afro Cuban carnival band will also perform. 

Musicians will perform together and solo.

Raffles will be part of this musical evening.

The Ocean Grove Area Chamber of Commerce is the sponsor of this year’s event.  Tickets are $10.00 in advance and $12.00 the day of the show and are available on line or by calling 732-774-1391.

This yearly event founded and chaired by David Cohen was begun 8 years ago to bring attention to the needs of local foodbanks after the holiday season.  100% of the proceeds go directly to the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties located at 3300 Route 66 in Neptune, NJ.

The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, a member of Feeding America, secures and distributes 6.7 million pounds of donated food annually to a network of approximately 260 hunger relief organizations in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.  The FoodBank is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit whose mission is to distribute food to as many needy people as possible through this network of area charities.
